Zum 1. August 2023 ist die modernisierte Verordnung des Ausbildungsberufs Karosserie- und Fahrzeugbaumechaniker/-in in Kraft getreten. Ergänzt wurde die neue Fachrichtung Caravan- und Reisemobiltechnik. Zudem wurden Inhalte mehrerer Sachkundenachweise in den Ausbildungsrahmenplan integriert. Vor dem Hintergrund der wachsenden Bedeutung der E-Mobilität gibt es künftig die neue Zusatzqualifikation „Arbeiten unter Spannung an Hochvoltsystemen in Fahrzeugen“.
The modernised ordinance for the training occupation of motor vehicle body and vehicle construction mechanic entered into force on 1 August 2023. A new specialism of caravan and motorhome technology has been added. The contents of several certificates of competence have also been integrated into the general training plan. Against the background of the growing significance of e-mobility, there will in future be a new additional qualification of “Working on live high voltage systems in vehicles”.
Zum 1. August 2022 treten die Verordnungen der Ausbildungsberufe Binnenschiffer/- in mit den Schwerpunkten Frachtschifffahrt und Personenschifffahrt sowie Binnenschifffahrtskapitän/-in in Kraft. Bei der Erarbeitung der Ausbildungsinhalte und Prüfungsanforderungen waren teilweise neue EU-Richtlinien zu berücksichtigen. Der Beitrag beschreibt die Herausforderungen, die bei der Entwicklung der beiden Ausbildungsordnungen zu bewältigen waren und welche Lösungen gefunden wurden, um nationale mit europäischen Standards in Einklang zu bringen.
Ordinances relating to the training occupations of inland bargeman/woman specialising in freight shipping, inland bargeman/woman specialising in passenger shipping and inland shipping captain will enter into force on 1 August 2022. New EU guidelines needed to be taken into account during some parts of the process of drawing up the training contents and examination requirements. This article describes the challenges that had to be overcome whilst developing these two training regulations and also outlines the solutions that were found in order to harmonise domestic and European standards.
New training standards drawn up by a Working Group of the BIBB Board will apply to all training occupations entering into force as of 1 August 2021. These standards will be firmly established in training ordinances in the form of “standard occupational profile positions”. One of these encompasses the topic of environmental protection and sustainability. In this interview, the joint chairs of the Working Group explain the ideas and objectives behind the new “environmental protection and sustainability” standard and talk about how it is finding its way into training practice.
The adoption of the Nursing Professions Act in July 2017 instigated a re-regulation of nursing which aimed to create a generalist and nationally standardised form of training. In December 2018, a Specialist Commission set up by the Federal Ministry of Health and the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth commenced work on the development of skeleton plans for theoretical and practical training. These have now been available since August 2019.

Mit Verabschiedung des Pflegeberufegesetzes im Juli 2017 fiel der Startschuss zur Neuordnung der Pflegeberufe im Sinne einer generalistischen und bundeseinheitlichen Ausbildung. Im Dezember 2018 hat sich eine von den zuständigen Bundesministerien für Gesundheit und für Familie, Senioren, Frauen und Jugend eingesetzte Fachkommission an die Arbeit gemacht und auf dieser Grundlage Rahmenpläne für die theoretische und praktische Ausbildung erarbeitet. Diese liegen nun seit August 2019 vor. Im Interview werfen wir mit der Vorsitzenden der Fachkommission, Frau Prof. Gertrud Hundenborn, und der stellvertretenden Vorsitzenden, Frau Prof. Dr. Ingrid Darmann-Finck, einen Blick auf die bislang geleistete Arbeit sowie anstehende Aktivitäten.
With the boom in the online trading of goods and services, the significance and scope of e-commerce is growing across all industries. New areas of activity and new organisational and business models are emerging. To meet the growing need for skilled workers in e-commerce a new commercial occupation has been created. The article highlights the background to the revision of the training regulations and describes the occupational profile.
Switzerland was one of the countries which saw a sharp increase in asylum migration in 2015 as many people fled regions affected by war and crisis. In December 2015, the Federal Council adopted a pilot programme with the aims of making better use of the areas of potential offered by young and adult refugees and of integrating such persons into VET and onto the labour market in a more sustainable way. After a preparatory phase, these so-called preliminary integration apprenticeships were launched in August 2018. This article explains the objectives behind the programme and the general conditions under which it operates. Initial insights are also provided into how models have been developed and implemented within the cantons and for certain occupations.
Die Flucht vieler Menschen aus Kriegs- und Krisengebieten im Jahr 2015 führte auch in der Schweiz zu einer starken Zunahme der Asylmigration. Der Bundesrat beschloss daher noch im Dezember 2015 ein Pilotprogramm, um die Potenziale von jugendlichen und erwachsenen Flüchtlingen besser zu nutzen und sie nachhaltiger in die Berufsbildung und den Arbeitsmarkt zu integrieren. Nach einer Vorbereitungsphase starteten die sogenannten Integrationsvorlehren im August 2018. Der Beitrag erläutert Zielsetzung und Rahmenbedingungen des Programms und gibt erste Einblicke in die Umsetzungsmodelle, wie sie in den Kantonen und für bestimmte Berufe entwickelt und umgesetzt wurden.
